Benitta Napitalai started Qweens in 2022 to give women weavers the platform they deserve.
She grew up in Goroka, surrounded by women whose hands carried generations of skill weaving bilums with care, precision, and pride. But despite their talent, many earned little for their work. Qweens was created to change that. To turn bilum weaving into income. To connect their craft to wider markets. And to show that their work is not just beautiful – it’s valuable.
Benitta’s goal is simple: support women to stand tall, earn well, and know their worth.
