Qweens is a Papua New Guinea owned lifestyle brand. We create bilums for everyday carry.
We work directly with rural weavers, many of them mothers, who carry generational skills in their hands. Each bilum is made to be used daily and to represent PNG with pride.
Founded by Benitta Napitalai
Qweens was founded by Benitta Napitalai, a Papua New Guinean woman driven by purpose, culture and everyday practicality. What began as a love for bilums and the women behind them grew into a lifestyle brand built around daily use, fair pay and pride in identity.
Where we weave.
Our bilums are woven by skilled women in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.
Each women carries knowledge passed through generations. Their hands tell stories of place, resilience, and craft.
We work directly with our weavers, pay fairly, and build long term relationships based on trust and respect.
